Happy Birthday 'Murica!

Happy Fourth of July to all you Americans! Known as a notorious partying day, the 4th is probably the favorite holiday of all Californians, or all Americans in general. My 4th, which consisted of driving up to Washington, was quite different from the "norm".
To begin it was a family event instead of the group partying day. Here in Washington, which is so far north that we are neighbors to the North Pole, the weather wasn't the run-of-the-mill bikini weather that I'm used to. Nevertheless, the constant supply of food and roasted marshmallows, made up for the weather.
My outfit for the 4th was a bit different from others considering I was partially in the rain and did not feel like breaking out my bikini. Instead of the traditional red, white, and blue, I decided to mix it up with a blue tie-dyed Brandy skirt, a crop top with a flapper bottom, docs, and a black jean jacket from Forever 21. The outfit did correlate with the festivities, so I was satisfied with my creation.
