Hi everyone! I took last Tuesday off from blogging to fight and recover from strep throat, but I'm back, and luckily, strep throat free! To begin with today's post, I'd like to inform you all on my plan for the month of May. During my strep throat week, I decided that instead of making these posts on outfits for different occasions, I should use my own closet as the guide for these posts. What I mean by that is that many times I just take two clothing items and decide to display them to you all, completely disregarding what I had worn to school in the previous hours. I decided that I cannot be a successful blogger if I wear one thing to school and another on my blog (unless the post is about ballgowns because I'm just not going to wear a ballgown to school). To change this and create kind of a test for myself, I am challenging myself to wear every single item of clothes that I own, at least once in this next month. To really prove to, not only myself, but all of you, that I can, I will be documenting this challenge and each Tuesday I will post what I wore from the previous Wednesday on. Hopefully by doing this, I can inspire all of you to wear everything you own and not be afraid to take some style risks.
I will start my style challenge/soul finding of the fashion world tomorrow and will post a picture for what I will wear Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of next week in the next post. For today however, I have one last outfit that does not relate to what I actually wore today (but who doesn't love to dress up?).
For my outfit (which I consider to be a complete doll outfit) (Ariana Grande, anyone?) Speaking of Ariana Grande, her new song
Problem with Iggy Azalea is absolutely amazing and I seriously recommend it to anyone and everyone (along with Iggy's entire new album). Anyways, I wore a black circle skirt from American Apparel, a Brandy Melville floral tank top, and pink and orange wedges from Urban Outfitters. The most exciting part of the ensemble for me, was the makeup. I finally was able to do a good set of cat eyes on myself and added to the look with pink lipstick and strong brows (brow game on point). To finish it all off, I braided back two pieces of hair and curled the rest into ringlets.
Until Tuesday my lovelies!
xoxo, Paloma
