Spring Fever

I hope you all had a fantastic Spring break, or that you will all have a great one (depending on your school schedule). After a week of unofficial hiatus, I am back and more ready to blog than ever before, and what better way to get back to blogging than to blog about Spring fever?
Right when we all realize that Spring break is over, a certain feeling of dread tends to set in. The mixed emotions that school is that much closer to being over and "oh my I need to raise my grades" or even the "yes two more months til I'm out of this place" or for you lucky few the "I don't even care because I'm going to Coachella this weekend". Regardless of how you feel about starting the third week of April, we are starting this third week of April and guess what? You'll only start the third week of April at your age once, so make the most of it, because it will never happen again. Unless of course, you are in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and then I just don't know what to tell you because that's a little out of my range of expertise.
Back to the main topic at hand: the great third week of April. April is honestly a great month (unless you are a junior in high school and you just had to take the A.C.T) full of flowers and sun and the official end of all things winter. Considering the very lengthy paragraph above, Delilah and I set out to create two very Spring looks that will not only lift your spirits, but possibly provide you with some inspiration for Easter.
For my look, I made some serious appearance changes (back to black maybe?) and dyed my bright blonde hair back to my natural dark, dark brown. Considering this, some changes had to be made to my clothes and makeup because believe it or not, some colors just do not look as good on a brunette as they do on a blonde. My outfit consisted of a bright red dress quilt-y dress from Anthropologie, black suede shoes, and purple and turquoise earrings. My makeup consisted of dark gold and brown eyeshadow, dark black pencil eyeliner, and extreme amounts of mascara.

For Delilah's outfit, she decided to take the very floral approach to the spring/Easter idea and wore many different shades of pink. She wore a floral cut out dress from Macy's, my mom's vintage pink heels, and small little stud earrings. Her makeup was relatively natural with light golden eye shadow, brown eyeliner, mascara, and pale peach lipstick from Sephora. Delilah has the bright blonde hair, so we put it in huge, bouncy ringlets to add to her perfectly cliché Spring outfit.

Now with these two outfits, you make look at them and say "is she colorblind? those outfits are atrocious". Or you could like them and find a way to make your own and wear a lookalike outfit on Easter. It's all up to you. Either way thank you all very much for making your way through today's post, and thank you all very much for giving me 18k views! It really does mean a lot to me!
Until next Tuesday my lovelies,
xoxo, Paloma
