So it is that time of year again...ladies and gentlemen, it is almost Spring break. For me at least, Spring break is next week, and whether it is journeying to France or staying at home to study, I believe that we all need a little relaxing time. Considering this, Miranda and I came up with your Spring lookbook, perfect for any event you might encounter over this break. The lookbook consists of: Cruise, Abroad, Coachella, A.P. testing, Spring Weddings, and Beach Wear. Instead of doing the normal pictures where each model has their own picture, I decided to spice things up and do interactive pictures with props!
1. A.P. Testing/Studying
So for those of you who are taking A.P classes, the A.P. tests are coming around sooner than we'd all like to think. For that reason, I thought it would only be appropriate to include an outfit dedicated to all our studious friends who will probably be spending their break studying. For our outfits, Miranda and I both wore relatively basic clothes. On me: Urban Outfitter jeans, a basic grey t-shirt, black cardigan from Target, and black high top Converse. On Miranda: Free People jeans, a grey sweater from Forever 21, and black high top Converse. Both looks are fairly simple and easy, but nevertheless, a staple outfit for this break.
2. Spring Wedding
The prettiest time of year to have a wedding is Spring. So wouldn't that mean that the likelihood of you attending many weddings is significantly greater this break? We would think so. Do not worry, for we have created two beautiful wedding outfits so that you can look beautiful any day of break! For me: a BCBG dress, pink vintage heels, and a vintage ring that I found in a thrift shop. For Miranda: a Free People dress, Charlotte Russe heels, and a Blair Waldorf inspired headband from Anthropologie.
3. Cruise and Beach Wear
For those of you lucky, lucky people who get to spend your week off school on a cruise or in a tropical place, we have the outfits for you as well! Miranda modeled the cruise look by wearing: a black and white patterned dress from Urban Outfitters, blue tiger flats from Buffalo Exchange, and a Louis Vuitton bag found in the back of a old house. I, on the other hand, modeled the beach wear look by wearing: a Victoria's Secret bathing suit top, a yellow top from Forever 21, tie-dyed shorts from Urban Outfitters, and of course, sunscreen.
4. Coachella
Yes, I know I have made many posts that surround the idea of Coachella fashion, but since it is so close to the actual event, what harm could another one do? Miranda and I rocked out in our outfits with Miranda wearing a backless jumper from Urban Outfitters. I wore a fringe top from a little boutique and my favorite skort from Topshop. These outfits, along with our lovely hair and makeup, will only cause envy at Coachella (if only we were going).
5. Traveling Abroad
And finally, for all you lucky ducks who get to travel abroad this break, here is our take on the classy outfits you might wear. Miranda is wearing a dress from Free People, a leather jacket from Free People and heeled boots from Topshop. I, on the other hand, am wearing a stripped shirt from Brandy Melville, a skirt from Forever 21, long boots, and a jacket from Free People. Oh, and the map didn't help us find our way home.
I hope you all enjoyed our slightly comedic rendition of the Spring Break Lookbook and I hope you all have amazing breaks! I will be changing my posting days to just Tuesdays, due to a very busy schedule in high school. Other posting days will eventually return but for now it will be just Tuesdays!
xoxo, Paloma
