San Francisco Roaming

Hello everyone! I was unable to post on Saturday due to one teenie-tiny issue: I left my computer at home. Alas, I did not return home until late Sunday night so I figured I might as well just wait until Tuesday to post. Instead of this post just focusing on Saturday, it will focus on my entire trip to San Francisco (and surrounding areas), because who doesn't love seeing pictures of San Francisco? *that was a rhetorical question*
I'll start by first telling you a few highlights about my trip. When I was first invited by my friend Miranda to go with her, I was beyond excited, for two reasons. One, I would be visiting San Francisco, one of my favorite cities on planet Earth, and second, Miranda is one of the funniest people I know so there would not be a dull moment. An example of this was when we were driving in Napa Valley and we came across The Largest Petrified Forest In The World conveniently located on Petrified Forest Road. So naturally, not being entirely sure of what a petrified forest was (or why it was such a big deal), we stopped by the museum for this forest. Getting out of the car was interesting considering I was wearing huge bug eye sunglasses and a black hat (much like those on AHS), and Miranda was latched onto me as if I was blind and she was guiding me. Once we were inside we noticed that there was a comment book, where visitors of the forest could write reviews. Okay prepare yourself, this comment caused me to loose my breath out of laughter: "My grandma feel but it was nice"- a six year old girl. Yes I know. Hilarious. Being visitors, we decided to leave our own comment which was: "Blind, but it smelled amazing". Basically that comment made my day and I proceeded to latch onto Miranda in order to successfully convince the woman behind the counter of the comment.
Okay well story time is over and it is now time for the outfits and fashion from the trip. To sum up what I brought, I will just say one word: overpacked. I brought a wide range of clothes that range from winter clothes and fleeces to bathing suits and flipflops. But luckily, each outfit we wore each day, worked out perfectly.
For our first say in the city, Miranda wore this outfit. It consisted of black Doc Martens (available here) ripped black tights, bleached high waisted shorts,  a Brandy Melville crop top, and a blue checkered flannel. Although we expected it to be cold and breezy in San Fransisco, it was actually quite hot and sunny, so her outfit worked out perfectly.
For our first day in the city, I wore the outfit below. It consisted of all black Converse, black tights, my lovely skort, and a black crop top from Brandy Melville (available here).  I also added a pair of bug eye sunglasses to complete my look. Although I was wearing a bit too much black for warm weather, it all turned out fine in the end.

For our second day in the city, as well as Napa Valley, we decided to dress up a little fancier considering we would be stopping at some nice wineries in the valley. Miranda wore the black hat (available here), a velvet turtleneck crop top, black Doc Martens, and a pair of patterned flowy shorts. Her look was very musical festival-esque while still being classy and fancy.
For my second outfit, I decided to really dress up my look and actually put on a dress. I wore a loose fitting dip-dyed dress (similar dresses available here) with my Doc Martens and a sparkly headband and sunglasses. I actually love this dress, although it isn't the fanciest, for two reasons. One, it is a dip-dyed red, and two, it has a lovely front cutout which makes it 100x fancier.
These were the only two days of outfits that were worth photographing due to the fact that the other two days were spent in the car commuting between San Francisco and Los Angeles (about a six hour drive each way). Regardless, I had an amazing time there and below are some more photos (completely unrelated to fashion) that I hope you will all enjoy.

Until next time!
xoxo, Paloma
